Problem Management
The problem management displays in a table data that are synchronized but for which an information loss is possible.
The area likely to be concerned by the information loss is mentioned by means of a recording, in other words, there can be several lines displayed for the same recording if several items of information are missing or out-of-phase.
From the problem table, the user can manually correct any values being out-of-phase, if they are authorized to use the Outlook synchronization (GESSYP function).

Those records being out-of-phase between Outlook and Sage X3 are displayed in a table. They can concern tasks, calls, appointments and Outlook contacts, within the framework of creations, modifications or deletions that might have gone wrong and for which there is a risk of information loss.
For instance, a company code can be entered on an Outlook task, but since this code does not exist in X3 (BP reference base), upon synchronization, a mirror X3 task is duly generated, but without a BP code. This implies the display of a line in the problem management. The authorized user can then give a new value to the incriminated field.
If the concerned field is directly modified in the object management (for instance, the task management), then, the problem management table is updated accordingly: the concerned line disappears.
Block number 1
User (field FILSYLUSR) |
It is possible to enter the code of a user authorized to initiate an Outlook synchronization. This is used to only display those records pending synchronization, for which there are anomalies and of which the user is the current user (owner). |
Sequence no. (field SYLNUM) |
It is the internal unique number, associated with the data being out of phase. |
User (field SYLUSR) |
It is the code(s) for the user(s) authorized to initiate an Outlook synchronization and for whom there are records pending synchronization because of field values being out of phase between Outlook and X3. |
Type (field SYLTYP) |
The possible X3 object values are:
One of these four types of X3 objects corresponds to each out-of-phase data. |
Key (field SYLKEY) |
It is the unique key of the X3 record out of phase with Outlook. It is defined from the sequence number counter management and can be assigned either manually or automatically at the time of the creation of a new record (tasks, calls, appointments and Outlook contacts) in Sage X3. |
Heading (field SYLFIE) |
The section corresponds to the code of the field being in anomaly. |
Outlook value (field SYLVALOTK) |
Value of the field in Outlook being out of phase with the value of the mirror X3 field. |
X3 value (field SYLVALADX) |
Value of the Sage X3 field being out of phase with the value of the mirror Outlook field. |
To process (field SYLFLGTRT) |
Use to process the line update. |
Detail |
The detail menu accessible from a table line is used to access the record of the concerned recording, directly in the object. |
