A Menu sub-module is an entity in a menu module linked to a set of menu items, which allows organizing the links of menu pages.
A menu sub-module can be added in a menu module definition by selecting the Edit page mode. You can add a new sub-module using the + New
link and edit the menu module characteristics.
The information to enter is the following:
Code
Identifies the menu sub-module.
Title
Defines the title that is displayed on the navigation page. The title is translatable and the different translations can be entered with the corresponding widget.
Description
Describes the menu sub-module.
Factory
This check box is selected if the menu sub-module is delivered by Sage.
Items
Defines the list of menu items linked to the sub-module. Adding a menu item to a sub-module can be done by adding an element on the list.
Application
Defines the application type associated with the menu items accessible from this sub-module.
Endpoints
If this list is filled, it provides a complete list of the Endpoints in which the sub-module is available. The menu sub-module is not displayed if the selected endpoint is not associated with the sub-menu module.
