This function is used to:
In order to modify the other characteristics of an operation (for instance, operation times), the function Mass modification of the Routing Operations should be used.
First of all, the operations to be modified must be selected, then the work centers that need to be modified on these operations must be specified.
Refer to documentation Implementation
Fields
The following fields are present on this tab :
|
The production site associated with the user is proposed by default. It can be modified by another site authorized for the operator, depending on its authorizations. |
|
Help common to functions "Routing operations" and "Replace work-centers".
|
|
The application date is specified and can be entered only if a "Replacement by date" is requested. This is the date on which the modification must take effect. By default, it is the current date. It can be modified but must remain later than or equal to the current date. |

Multiple routings can be defined for a single product. Each routing code can be assigned specific management features. These include restriction of the routing to a specific site and to specific areas of functionality (for use in a manufacturing environment, for costing or for capacity planning). |
|
The routing is used to describe the product manufacturing process. |
|
The production routing is described by means of operation numbers. |
|
The work center is attached to a work center group. It corresponds to a production resource on which a routing operation is carried out. This is an entity for which it is requested to plan loads and track production times. Each work center is associated with an attachment site. |
|
A labor work center can be associated with the machine-type or labor-type main work center. The labor work center times are calculated using two coefficients:
When creating a routing operation, the site attached to the work center must be the same as the site dedicated to the routing code, provided that the latter site is mentioned.
If the main work center is of sub-contracting type, no secondary work center can be associated. |
|
The sub-contracting code is used to determine whether the operation is carried out internally or if it is sent outside to a sub-contracting supplier.
|
|
The sub-contracting work center:
When creating a routing operation, a verification is carried out to make sure that the site attached to the work center is the same as the site dedicated to the routing code, provided that the latter site has been specified. |
|
This is the code for a product with the category type ‘service’. |

This tab makes it possible to choose the new work centers to be assigned to the selection operations, based on their type.
If subcontract work centers are concerned, it is also possible to modify the subcontract product to be used, the supplier and address to be submitted by default for the subcontract order along with the reference price.
The validation via the [OK] button of the parameter entries performed leads to the opening of a grid loaded by default with all the operations of the selection, presented with the new parameter values: everything can still be modified line by line in this grid.
The saving of the operations of this grid, after modifications, confirms the modifications carried out on the routing operations or the creation of the requested replacement operations.
Aborting this grid cancels the manual modifications performed on the standard operations of the selection.
A log file is proposed at the end of the processing.

When checked, this box is used to define a new main work center. |
|
The principal work center corresponds to the production resource on which the routing operation will be performed. It can be of machine, labor or sub-contracting type. |
|
When checked, this box is used to define a new labor work center. |
|
|
When checked, this box is used to enter a new sub-contracting work center. |
|
The sub-contracting work center:
When creating a routing operation, a verification is carried out to make sure that the site attached to the work center is the same as the site dedicated to the routing code, provided that the latter site has been specified. |
Subcontract
|
When checked, this box is used to enter a subcontract product. |
This is the code for a product with the category type ‘service’. |
|
When checked, this box is used to indicate a new supplier code. |
Enter the supplier at the origin of the receipt. The selection lists specific to the intersite and intercompany orders and deliveries available for receipt are filered to those related to the entered supplier. From the Selection icon, you can:

|
This tick box cannot be entered by the user. |
This field is used to choose an address associated with the selected supplier. |
|
When checked, this box is used to enter a reference price. |
|
In the case of the definition of a generic sub-contracting service, a reference price can be entered in the operation. |

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :
Error message linked to the control of selections by range.
All work centers are linked to a specific site. Here the chosen work center is linked to a production site other than that selected in the header. However, it is mandatory that it is linked to the site specified in the header.
On the sub-contractor work center. The type of the sub-contractor work center has to be "sub-contractor".
On the labor work center. The type of the labor work center has to be "labor".
This message appears when subcontracting is activated (the sub-contracting code being at its structural or occasional value) and the subcontracting product is not entered.
It means that for the operation in question, there is already a replacement operation in the routing. The initial and replacement operations have the same operation number, but they were given different indices to distinguish them.
Information message. Operations are modified when a mass modification has been carried out.
Operations are created when the replacement of operations on a given date has been executed.
