This function should be considered as an extension to the management of appointments. In principle, it is rare to access this function directly from the general X3 menu.

When this function is used from the appointments management, all the fields except the resource code are automatically loaded. On the other hand all of them must be manually entered when directly accessing the function from the general X3 menu. In this latter case, it is necessary to manually associate an allocation with an appointment.

SEEINFO It is not mandatory to specify a site when allocating the resources. However, when a site is entered, this one has to correspond to the site specified in the Appointments and Interventions functions.

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

This non-mandatory field is used to associate a site with a resource reservation.
SEEINFO When a site is associated with a resource reservation, this resource is only available for the entered site.
  • Sequence no. (field NUM)

This field is by default associated to an automatically functioning sequence number counter. Consequently, the user should not normally concern him/herself with its contents.

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Reservation

  • Start date (field RERDAT)

This field is used to enter the reservation start date.
  • Start time (field HOUSTR)

This field is used to enter the start hour of the reservation.
  • End date (field RERDATEND)

This field is used to enter the reservation end date.
  • End time (field HOUEND)

This field is used to enter the end hour of the reservation.

Resource

This field contains the code for the resource reserved. This code can be selected from amongst all the resources described in the "Resources" object.

When a resource code is selected, the category is automatically displayed in the "Category of the resource" field.

Error messages

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :

'A reservation has already been entered for the selected period'.

This message appears when the user attempts to reserve a resource with a time conflict with a previous reservation.
