Use this function to create personalized entry screens (Customized entry function, GENEMP) to manage employees.

Screen management

Each record corresponds to a personalized entry screen. Use the grid to determine the fields to display in this screen. These fields can be an employee field or a formula.

In the grid, in the Fieldcolumn, enter or click the Selection icon and select an employee field.

Characteristics of the fields:

  • Entered: the field will be available for entry in the screen generated via the Customized entry function, except for formulas.
  • Displayed: the field will be displayed (but will not be available for entry) in the screen generated via the Customized entry function.
  • Hidden: the field will not be displayed in the screen generated via the Customized entry function.

Copy

Click the Copy button to copy the setup of the current screen to another folder.

Post

Use this button to validate the current employee screen, in other words, to generate this screen in the screen dictionary in order to use it later in the Customized entry function.

Error messages

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :

Non-existent field

The requested field is not referenced in the Employee field dictionary.

Field inactive

The requested field is not activated in the Employee field dictionary.

Payroll: module not imported into the folder

The requested formula type requires the presence of the Payroll module.

Time: module not imported into the folder

The requested formula type requires the presence of the Time module.

Incorrect length

The length defined for the formula is not valid.

Incorrect value

The number defined for the local menu is not valid.

Variable not defined in table TIMRECAP

The requested variable in the formula of time summary type does not exist in the TIMRECAP table.
