Legislation (selection filter)
Use this parameter to link a legislation code to this user.
Legislation filter principle
Some data (for example, parameters) are linked to a legislation code. Use this code, if not blank, so the data are only used on the documents of companies that match the legislation code.
This parameter is defined at user level. Use it to link a legislation code to this user and automatically filter data based on this legislation code. Only those records with a Legislation field that is empty or that matches this legislation are then displayed. This filter is automatically applied solely in the selection panel and in the selection lists on the fields. If the user enters the key of a record associated with another legislation code, they can still access this record.
If there is no legislation code linked to this user, no filter is applied to the legislation. All the records are listed in the selection panel and in the various selection lists.
Operating principle of an import template
This parameter is used in multi-legislation folders for imports, when the import template structure does not include a Legislation field. For the user launching the import, the Legislation field is populated in the imported records according to the value of this parameter:- If the parameter is not entered, the Legislation field is not populated: the imported record is a multi-legislation record.
- If the parameter is entered, the legislation code entered for this parameter populates the Legislation field. The record will be associated with this legislation.
The relevant import templates are:
- TPT - Payment terms
- TPV - Supplier invoice types
- TRE - Sales return types
- TSC - Statistical rule
- TSD - Delivery types
- TSO - Sales order types
- TSV - Customer invoice types
