The Product Planning Workbench is a decision-support tool at the service of the planner/material buyer. It provides the decision-maker with a view of the projected stock by product and by site over a given period.

Using this view, the decision-maker can act on the work in process with the purpose, for instance, of taking account of the requirement calculation or a sales order.

The product planning workbench is accessible from the Purchase and Manufacturing modules of the software, to be used by the material buyer or production planner.

This function is related to the Grouping workbench function.
