Usable component control

This parameter—CMPUSBCTR—is used when creating or updating a work order.

Use this parameter to control if a component with a Not usable status is added to a work order in the list of components for a bill of material (BOM).

The component status is defined on the product record in the Product status field (ITMSTA).


Yes: This is the default value for this parameter. Add a component with a Not usable status to a new and an existing work order, and highlight the unusable component line.

A new work order is not created.
The highlighted component line serves as a reference or warning that there's an issue that needs to be resolved before the work order can be created.


No: Do not include a component at Not usable status in the list of components for a new or existing work order.
