Complete/close tracking TRS
This parameter is used by the WO close function (FUNMCLOSE) when completing or closing a work order.
A work order can be completed or closed individually, or as part of a group of work orders:
- When a work order is completed, the component lines, the released product lines and the work order itself are all set to Completed status, and the operations closed.
You can continue to record progress against individual work orders until such time as the work order is closed. - When a work order is closed, the component lines, the released product lines and the work order itself are all initially set to Completed status, and the operations closed. Upon actual closure of the work order, the status of the work order is changed from Firm to Closed then the cost of the finished goods is calculated.
At this point the status of the work order is Closed + Costed and it is no longer possible to track operations, component lines or the released product lines.
You use this parameter to define which Production tracking entry transaction is used to process tracking that takes place during completion or closure of the work order.
