Default resource root cause
This parameter identifies the default root cause for an incidence of non-conformance raised against a resource (work center) used to carry out an operation in a routing for a work order, for example, when an operator reports a broken machine or defective tool.
The list of factors that can cause a non-conformance that should be eliminated through process improvement are defined in Miscellaneous table 803 - Root cause.
This root cause can be overwritten with an alternative root cause when raising or amending an incidence of non-conformance.
