A/P-A/R accounting >  Inquiries >  Supplier situation

Display all Hide all

This function is used to view by date range the balance of the supplier invoices pending payment. This function can be accessed:

  • from the BP inquiry,
  • From the supplier record via the menu <A/P-A/R Accounting\Customer situation (or Risk or Last Operations)>

SEEWARNING This function values the various risks, but does not deal with all the cases. Most counters (totals) use flows in the modules upstream of the Financials module. They do not take into account some purely accounting or highly specific flows. Let us mention the case of the matching/unlatching processes, the non-assigned payments. All these flows are totaled in the accounting balance.

Menu Bar

This button gives access to the other criteria of the inquiry that are in part displayed in the inquiry screen header (company, site, pivot date).
Check boxes are used to refine the inquiry and indicate whether the "simulation postings" and "Non validated payments" should be taken into account (that is to say, the payments entered and allocated but not posted yet). Including these entries impacts the line balance and therefore the total obtained.
Two sort orders are submitted: "Due Date" or "Accounting Date".
It is possible to call another BP situation screen via the "Screen code" field.
The grid "Intervals" is used to define or modify the day brackets in the open item schedule. The intervals are only accessible as a function of the number of intervals declared at the level of the inquiry screen setup.

When using the criteria definition function, it is possible to store the modified setups using the Memo button. Then, a window allows a code identifying the memorized setups to be entered. The Recall button is used to recall criteria saved previously under a given code (the code must then be entered). When using the account inquiry function, the setups that are stored with the STD code are recalled by default.
