The purpose of this function is to display all the serial number in stock for a given product, as well as the serial numbers delivered.

Header

Presentation

The header information is used to specify the main selection criteria for the inquiry used.

Site: the entry of a site is optional, if no site is requested, the system displays all serial numbers of the product, for the group of sites in which it is defined.

Product : it is mandatory to enter a product code.

Document type, document, delivered customer: it is possible to filter the serial numbers displayed according to an entry type or a specific entry code, and potentially to display the serial numbers issued for a given customer.

Serial numbers in stock: tick if the serial numbers present in stock should be displayed.

Serial numbers issued : tick to display the delivered serial numbers.

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Block number 1

Enter or select a storage site at which the selected product is active.

The Selection icon (magnifying glass) only suggests products that are referenced in the products-sites table.

Enter the reference of the product for which the stock needs to be inquired.

  • Serial no. management (field SERMGTCOD)

 

 

Block number 2

  • Entry type (field VCRTYPSEL)

Enter a document type if you wish to filter the inquiry and restrict it to this type of document.

  • Entry (field VCRNUMSEL)

Reference of the document number to inquire, depending on the type chosen.

Enter the BP code or use the Lookup tool to search from the BP table.

  • field BPAADDSEL

This field indicates the code of the address to ship to.
You can view the detailed address information by clicking Address from the Actionsicon.

  • On creation, this field is no longer accessible when a delivery line is created.
  • Once the delivery has been created, this field can no longer be modified, but you can still display the detailed address information.
    You can modify the address by clicking Address/Delivery in the action panel.
  • Numbers in stock (field NONFLG)

Tick if the search must be carried out for all the serial numbers in stock.

  • Issue numbers (field ALLFLG)

Check this box if the search must take place on all the serial numbers issued.

Presentation

The columns present in this table depend on the setup of the chosen screen code.

By default the table reproduces for the selection criteria chosen, a line by serial number identified with as main information:

*    The serial number and the associated lot.

*    The location and the storage site for the serial number

*    The entry number of the stock receipt for the serial number as well as the movement transaction date.

*    The document number of the stock issue for the serial number as well as the movement transaction date.

Menu Bar

This button is used to access the additional selection criteria with respect to the criteria entered in the inquiry header.

Screen code: the inquiries can be set up in a general manner (for more detail, see the Inquiry screens documentation). It is possible to call upon customized inquiry screens via the screen code. This customization is used notably, to choose what information should be shown on the screen and in what order it should be positioned in the grid.

It is possible to save one or more sets of criteria by saving the codes.   that can be subsequently recalled   or deleted .

 

Error messages

The only error messages are the generic ones.
