MRP processing - Implementation

Prerequisites

Miscellaneous prerequisites

Products are only included in the MRP calculations if their Reorder mode is set to By MRP.

The following parameters need to be assigned:

  • Scheduling parameters. Refer to the Scheduling documentation.
  • MRP parameters. Refer to the MRP documentation.
  • Reorder policy is applied to the product-site record. Refer to the Reorder policy documentation.
  • Management rules for the product-site record. Refer to the Product-site documentation.

General parameters

The following general parameters may change the way the function is working:

Purchase

  • ITMBPS (defined at level Site): Supplier referencing
  • ITMBPSFCY (defined at level Site): Supplier-site referencing

Manufacturing

  • DEFDIH (defined at level Site): Default schedule
  • GPERCOMP (defined at level Site): % LT reduction default
  • GTPSCOMP (defined at level Site): Slack time compression
  • OPEEFFAPP (defined at level Site): Efficiency application
  • SCHEDWPO (defined at level Site): Schedule wait and post-op time
  • WSTEFFINH (defined at level Folder): Work center efficiency history

Inventory

  • FIRWRKDAY (defined at level Site): First work day of week
  • LATSUGDAT (defined at level Site): End date of late suggestions
  • MAXALLQTY (defined at level Site): Integrate allocated qty
  • MRPDYNCOV (defined at level Site): MRP seasonalized coverage

An authorization can be granted for this function to limit the processes to a company or a site.
