Email approver
This parameter controls email notifications to each Sage X3 user listed as an "approver" for a Change control change request.
Yes: Email each "approver" with the email defined in local menu 2060 when the change manager confirms they have assigned the areas of expertise (entities) to be reviewed. The email contains a uniform resource locator (URL) to the change request. This effectively therefore, informs the user that they can start reviewing the business case and requirements for the specific entities they have been assigned to review.
Sage X3 users assigned to assigned to review multiple entities will receive a single, consolidated email.
If the change manager reassigns an entity to a different "approver" (or deletes the entity from the list) the following emails are sent:
- The original approver will receive the email defined in local menu 2064.
- The new approver will receive the email defined in local menu 2060 (see above).
No: Email notification to any Sage X3 user assigned to a Change control change request as an "approver" is not required.
