Default planner
The Sage X3 user code to be assigned as the default project manager (planner) when a suggested 'change' to a design or a production model is raised.
A planner has authorization to effect the planning, implementation and execution disciplines associated with your organization's 'change management' process.
This user code can be overwritten with an alternative user name when raising or amending a change request.

This parameter is defined at the level Folder. It belongs to Chapter TC (Common Data) and the Group CCM (Change control management), The following parameters are also associated with this chapter and group :

The default user you assign must have their parameter CCMPLANNER - Planner (chapter TC, group CCM) set to 'Yes'. This confirms they are approved for involvement in your 'change management' process as a planner.
