Email change manager
This parameter controls email notifications to the Sage X3 user assigned as the change manager for a Change control change request.
Yes: Email the change manager with the email defined in local menu 2054 when a request to "change" a design or a production model is raised. The email contains a uniform resource locator (URL) to the change request.
Set to Yes, the change manager will also receive an email when the following key events in the change cycle occur. These effectively therefore, inform the change manager user of the progress of the change request. The emails also contain a URL to the change request:
- When an approval status for a specific entity is set to Rejected the change manager will receive the email defined in local menu 2061.
If multiple entities are set to Rejected by the same approver the change manager will receive a single, consolidated email. - When an approval status for all assigned entities has been set the change manager will receive the email defined in local menu 2062.
- When the action plan is completed the change manager will receive the email defined in local menu 2063.
If the change manager reassigns the change request to a different change manager the following emails are sent:
- The original change manager will receive the email defined in local menu 2056.
- The new change manager will receive the email defined in local menu 2054 (see above).
No: Email notification to the Sage X3 user assigned to a Change control change request as the change manager is not required.
