Prerequisites

Activity codes

The following activity codes (sorted by type) may have an impact on the way the function operates :

Dependent activity codes

These codes are never entered in folder management, because their value is calculated :

LABD (Number of labor groups), MACD (Number of machine groups), MATD (Number of material groups), SLO (Management by sub-lots).

Sequence Numbers

The sequence numbers used to number the documents managed by this function are :

  QUA : Quality Analysis

The sequence number assignment function defines the sequence number which is used

Authorizations

This function is object managed. The creation, modification, and deletion operations can be activated or deactivated for a given user. Filters by roles can also be associated with this function.

As data is linked to a site, a filter per site can be activated.

The following options can be activated or deactivated for each user :

  Change of status

Entry Transactions

This function is managed with entry transactions which can be set up.

A standard transaction is suggested when installing the software. A setup function is used to modify this standard transaction or create new personalized transactions. This setup essentially exists to specify some functional characteristics of the transaction and display as well as the default loading for certain fields.

Miscellaneous prerequisites

Miscellaneous tables

The following miscellaneous tables are used by the function. They must be populated if necessary :

Miscellaneous table number 9 : Stock movement groups

Miscellaneous table number 14 : Stock Movement Code

Miscellaneous table number 104 : Sampling reasons

Miscellaneous prerequisite

In the common data:

  • A Submitted to control flag is managed for a product at the level of the product record and the product-supplier product. According to the status of this flag, a product can be subject to a direct receipt into stock with the status described by the user or must be booked to stock with status Q To be controlled.
  • A Status on expiry indicator is managed in the product record and is used to declare that a lot must be rejected or re-controlled for any extension to the expiry date, once it is exceeded or near.

The management rules defined at the level of the product category are used to specify for each receipt movement type, if the receipt with status Q To be controlled will automatically lead to the generation of a quality control note. These management rules can be specified by the movement code.
