Load in progress
Use this inquiry to display the workload at a single production site.
The results represent the workload generated when a planned or firm work order is created, or the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) or MPS (Master Production Schedule) calculations are run with load included in the calculations.
The workload is supported using a color indicator so that you can easily spot the type of load that's currently in progress and the status of the load.

Screen management
This inquiry is customized to the needs of your organization and your processes. The screen code that you select determines how information is displayed on the Load in progress tab.
Home
Use this section to enter the production site and range filters, then select Search.
Selection
Site (FCY)
|
The work order production site. The default site displayed is associated with your user record but you can edit it. |
Start - end range
Work center group (WCRSTR / WCREND)
|
Filter for results within a range of work center groups that operate at the selected production site. For a single work center group, enter the same group code in both fields. A work center group can be for machines, labor, or subcontracted resources. |
Work center (WSTSTR / WSTEND)
|
Filter for results within a range of work centers associated with the selected work center groups. For a single work center, enter the same code in both fields. Each work center is associated with an attachment site. |
Labor center (WSTLABSTR / WSTLABEND)
Filter for results within a range of labor work centers associated with the selected work center groups. For a single labor work center, enter the same code in both fields.
Work center type (WSTTYPSTR / WSTTYPEND)
|
Filter for results for machine, labor, or subcontracting work centers at the selected production site. For a single work center type, select the same work type reference in both fields. Subcontract suppliers manage Subcontracting work centers externally. |
Start date (STRDATSTR / STRDATEND)
|
Filter for results within a range of production start dates. For a single start date, enter the same date in both fields. Note - tip
Observe loading times. |
Tab Load in progress
The screen code that you select determines how information is displayed in this table.
Grid
Type (OPSTYPSTA)
|
The type of load that's currently work in progress plus the current status of the load. The first 2 characters = the order type; the third character (S (Suggested), P (Planned), or F (Firm)) = the status of the order. OWS: Suggested load OWP: Planned load OWF: Firm load |
Entry (MFGNUM)
The work order reference.
Op. (OPENUM)
The operation sequence number.
Split (OPESPLNUM)
The split operation sequence number.
Work center (EXTWST)
The production resource used for the operation sequence number.
Type (EXTWSTTYP)
The production resource type can be a machine, labor, or a subcontracting work center.
Start date (OPESTR)
The date the operation sequence number needs to start.
End date (OPEEND)
The date the operation sequence number needs to be completed.
Line status (OPESTA)
The progress and status of the operation sequence number.
Site (MFGFCY)
The work order production site.
Work center group (WCR)
The group of work centers the production resource belongs to.
Product (ITMREF)
The code of the product to be released.
OP UOM (OPEUOM)
The unit in which the work order operation quantity is expressed. Work order operation quantities are expressed in the operation unit.
Expected quantity (EXTQTY)
The planned quantity. The quantity is expressed in the stock unit.
Remaining qty. (RMNEXTQTY)
The quantity not yet built. The quantity is expressed in the stock unit.
Released routing (ROUNUM)
|
The routing code. The routing describes the process involved in building or maintaining a product. The sequence of operations and tools that are involved in producing or processing a particular product. The routing code matches the product code. The product code can be a manufactured product (a bill of material), or a generic reference to a parent routing which is linked to several products. |
Time unit (TIMUOMCOD)
The unit of time in which the operation is measured.
Setup time (EXTSETTIM)
The time that it takes for the machinery to be set up ready for use. The time is expressed in the defined time unit.
Actual stp. time (CPLSETTIM)
|
The actual time tracked for preparing the machine, tool, or labor resource before production started. The time is expressed in the setup time unit defined for the production operation. |
Run time (EXTOPETIM)
The time it takes to perform the operation for the required number of items.
Actual run time (CPLOPETIM)
The actual time tracked for the machine, tool, labor resource assigned to perform the operation. The time is expressed in the run time unit defined for the production operation.
Labor W/C (EXTLAB)
The labor work center associated with the machine, such as a labor work center that relates to the crew that operates the machine.
Number of resources (EXTWSTNBR)
The number of production resources that are needed to perform the operation.
Exp. no. labor (EXTLABNBR)
The number of labor resources that are needed to perform the operation.
Labor setup factor (SETLABCOE)
The coefficient applied to the planned setup time. It’s used to obtain the setup time allocated to the labor work center linked to the main work center.
Labor operational factor (OPELABCOE)
The coefficient applied to the planned operation time. It’s used to obtain the operation time for the labor work center linked to the main work center.
Labor setup time (LABSETTIM)
The time that it takes for the labor resource to be set up ready to perform the operation. The time is expressed in the defined time unit.
Labor run time (LABOPETIM)
The actual time tracked for the labor resource assigned to perform the operation.
Subcontracted prod. (SCOITMREF)
Identifies the service for the subcontractor to carry out for the operation.
Supplier (BPSNUM)
The code of the supplier the source document or order was created for. It’s only displayed if the source document is a purchasing document.
Order no. (POHNUM)
The source document or purchase order number.
Line (POPLIN)
The line number on the source document or purchase order.
Sequence (POPSEQ)
The sequence number on the source document or purchase order.
Project (PJT)
|
The associated project code. The content can be one of the following:
If the content of the field includes a character such as an exclamation mark "!" this field links to the structure of the project. The character is the separator between a project code and the structure, either the project cost structure or the project operational structure. For example, if a material task code is "USA-P3" and a project code is "USA12345678", this field displays a link to the project operational structure as "USA12345678!USA-P3". Note - information
To provide a quick and easy visual reference, the link to the project or project structure is distinguishable by the number of separator characters used. If there's no separator, the link is made to the project. A single separator such as an exclamation mark after the project code (the first code) indicates that the link type is a task. The link is made to the project operational structure. 2 separators placed after the project code mean that the link corresponds to a budget code. The link is made to the project budget structure. |
Grouping criterion (SCHGRP)
