This parameter determines which work order cost value must be used in production reporting.

Release - This is the default value for this parameter. Use the provisional 'release', or expected cost for a work order in production reporting. This value calculates provisional release costs from the work order data. This will be for the actual work order quantity and the actual times defined for the route. You should use this value if your manufacturing processes might change the default list of components or routing operations by adding a raw material or changing work centers, for example. The provisional cost declaration is calculated automatically when a work order is released if you use this value.

Theoretical - Use the theoretical provisional cost for a work order in production reporting. This value calculates the theoretical provisional cost for a work order for the provisional, or planned production quantity. The provisional cost calculations use the technical data defined for all components of the bill of materials (BOM), and for the production route.

The following values are not permitted: Expected, Actual, Real cost price for planned quantity and Provisional production for achieved quantity

Level of localization/Global variable
