Estim. project progress init.
This parameter is used when calculating the estimated progress of a project automatically.
ESTPRGMET - Bud/proj progress estimation method parameter (TC chapter, PJM group). You use this parameter to define if the estimated progress of a project is entered as a percentage manually, or calculated automatically.
The estimated progress of a project can be calculated automatically on demand by clicking a Refresh icon in the project.
When clicked, the Refresh icon "requests" a value for the Estimated progress (%) (PRCCPL) field. However, before this value can be calculated the Estimated progress (%) field must be initialized. You use this parameter to define the SQL query that is to be executed to initialize the Estimated progress (%) field when the project progress percentage is refreshed.
3 SQL queries are provided with your Sage X3 system for calculating the estimated progress of a project automatically:
- PJMPRG3 - Estimated progress (STD) calculates the estimated progress percentage of a project by comparing the sum of actuals against the provisional cost price (as defined in the project Financial status section).
PJMPRG3 is defined as the default value for this parameter but can be changed to execute PJMPRG2, or PJMPRG by default. - PJMPRG2 - Estimated operation progress (STD) calculates the estimated progress percentage of a project by comparing the sum of consumed load against planned load for the labor task operations.
- PJMPRG - Estimated progress (STD) calculates the estimated progress percentage of a project by comparing the sum of expenses against the budget amount (as defined in the project Financial status section).
